Flash in the Rock Hall of Fame

Grandmaster Flash and the furious Five have become the first hip-hop act to be inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame. See the pics from the ceremony.

Accepting the honour, Flash paid tribute to all the breakdancers, graffiti artists, MC's, DJ's who opened the doors: "So to all the Run DMC's, LL Cool J's, Jay Z's, Public Enemy's and more...thank you."

With the release of one single, The Message, Flash and the Furious Five changed music history. They were at heart of the birth of hip hop.
