How to make a light-up memory jar
Watch the episode of Go Get Arty to follow the video tutorial
Note: An adult will need to supervise this craft! Please be careful with scissors.
Start by mixing water with PVA glue. Half water, double the glue is the perfect mix.
Paint the glue onto the jar and stick on some tissue paper.
Paint more glue over the tissue to lock it in. Then leave it to dry.
Cut out some more tissue paper shapes to create a lovely design.
Stick your shapes onto the jar with your paintbrush and glue.
Time to add the finishing touches - use cut out black paper to make a silhouette on the jar. They'll really stand out when the light is on inside.
Get an electric tea light candle and pop it inside the jar... there you have it: a lovely memory jar.
