Daytime and early peak commissioning

We are home to a wide-ranging portfolio of award-winning, cost-effective content that takes in much-loved returners like Bargain Hunt, The One Show and Escape to the Country, as well as ambitious new titles like The Marvellous Miniature Workshop. That show was a particular hit on iPlayer, so it's important to remember when pitching ideas that we're looking for content that can work at any time, on any platform, rather than simply in a daytime space.

We now sit within the wider BBC entertainment commissioning group and will be refreshing our editorial brief soon. As the features and events team, we’ll continue to look for fresh and surprising ideas that speak to a broad, popular audience with a combination of relatability, heart, and authenticity.
