Time For Teletubbies

The world famous Teletubbies are coming on their summer holiday to Cornwall. The CBBC characters will be appearing live on stage in the BBC Cornwall Show Theatre at The Royal Cornwall Show on Friday...

On Friday 8 June the BBC Cornwall Show Theatre, at the Royal Cornwall Show, will play host to four world famous celebrities.

The Teletubbies will be saying 'Eh-oh' and 'Big Hugs' to all the children, toddlers and families, who visit the BBC Cornwall Marquee on Friday lunchtime.

Over the last 10 years they have become one of the most successful pre-school properties of all time.

The Teletubbies

Look out for the Teletubbies!

It is only the second time in the UK that the Teletubbies would have ever been seen outside of Teletubbyland.

Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po are very excited to be guests of BBC Cornwall and look forward to lots of waving and 'Eh-ohs'.

On Friday the very special live performance, at the BBC Radio Cornwall marquee, will see the Teletubbies laughing, marching, dancing and interacting again and again with their fans.

Children in 120 countries have danced, sung and fallen over with the Teletubbies.

They have chuckled with the Noo-noo, gasped at the baby sun and wondered which is nicer - tubby custard or tubby toast? The series has been seen by millions of children worldwide and holds the distinction of being the first Western pre-school children’s programme to appear on national television in China. In Germany, Teletubbies is now in the dictionary.

Get ready to say 'Eh-oh' as the Teletubbies appear live on stage only in the BBC Cornwall show marquee on Friday 8 June sometime between 12.30-1.30pm...
