Snow covers the fields and hills behind her with a few patches of straw or caramel-coloured grass poking out in places. There is also a small patch of what looks like trees or bushes in the distance. The shadow of a second person lies across the snow behind her.

  14. The Majestic Hotel in its current form. It is a red-brick, four-storey building with large windows on the corner of a road. Its gables on either side look like rounded triangles. There are short black safety railings in front of it. In the background is a church clock tower and a bus is going past.

  15. An ordnance shell is partially submerged in clear sea water. The black device is sitting side-on between rocks, sand and red sea plants. The black device is long and rounded at one end, tapering down to a thinner end, reminiscent of a scale model of large bombs often attached to the underside of bomber plans. However, this is a much smaller item, possibly an artillery shell.
