  5. Orange fire glowing on a fell with dark fields in front. It's night time and the sky is full of orange-grey smoke above the fire and white grey smoke to the side. There are some black silhouetted trees along the ridge of the far fell with bright spots of white-orange fire beneath. In the foreground are two leafless trees, black silhouetted against the orange background.

  6. Helen Quayle's straight blonde hair is half up. She is wearing a brown trench coat and a scarf with green, brown and red square pattern. She is holding a vinyl of the Vickers Brass Band, titled Prelude to a New Age. There are photographs of ships on the cover and the title letters are blue. Quayle is surrounded by pink and purple potted plants as she stands in what appears to be the yard of and old brown-brick building with ornate windows.

  7. The road to the roundabout at the southern end of the A594 near Cockermouth in Cumbria. It is a single carriageway road and a white direction sign on the left shows a roundabout with a left turn to Workington and Whitehaven on the A595 and A66. Straight on is Maryport on the A594. Right takes drivers to Carlisle on the A595. There are trees along side the road, a national speed limit sign a a car on either side of the road by the roundabout in the distance.

  8. Two primary age pupils with their backs to the camera, standing in a grassy area with railings beyond, and then a road, a parked van, and houses. One of them, a girl with her hair tied back, in a black coat, is pointing the camera of a smartphone at a QR code on an orienteering control point in the form of a rectangular orange and white sign attached to the vertical post of a much larger sign. The boy beside her is also looking carefully at the smartphone screen.

  9. Cumwhinton railway bridge near Carlisle, looking across the bridge from one side. The bridge is now a road, with a white dashed line down the middle and a kerb on the left hand side. There are stone walls at the edge of the bridge, and below it you can see the railway track and the surrounding area is very green with large trees.

  13. A blueprint of the designs for the revamped walking areas in the Sandgate area of Penrith. The designs show people walking on a widened pavement and road with 20mph speed limit pasted on the ground. The image is produced in the style of pretty basic computer graphics and doesn't seem to show any great innovation. There is a zebra crossing in the bottom left corner, otherwise no actual crossing points which suggests the plan is to have vehicles going slower and potentially having to stop in one direction at a junction.

  14. A brick retaining wall on the A684 at Smorthwaite which has partially collapsed. The wall also includes a culvert, with an arched structure. There is moss on part of the wall and bricks on the ground.

The sign is blue with white lettering. There are buildings attached to either side of the entrance block. A green and white sign next to the path leading to the entrance indicates this is the main entrance.
