|  | The time is approaching to enjoy the famous Blossom Trail around the Vale of Evesham. |
 | |  | With Spring in the air it won't be long before the Vale of Evesham is filled with beautiful blossoms as the fruit trees begin to bloom.
Anyone who wants to enjoy this spectacular sight can follow a specially signposted Blossom Trail - perfect for a family bike ride!
 | | Cyclists on the blossom trail | For the less energetic Spring Blossom Coach Tours will start on Wednesday 26th March, taking place every Wednesday through April.
The Coach Tours incorporate a guided tour of the famous Spring Blossom Trail, a visit and discounted entry to The Almonry Heritage Centre, a visit to Evesham Country Park and The Vale Wildlife Centre allowing time for a morning coffee ending with a lunchtime stop in the Georgian Market Town of Pershore.
There are two pick-up-points in Broadway and three pick-up-points in Evesham. The first pick-up is at 9.30am returing at approximately 3.00pm.
Riding the trail for charity
There's also the chance for people to ride the route and raise some money for a good cause.
The annual Spring Blossom Trail Bikeaway, in aid of St John Ambulance, will be taking place on Sunday 13th April.
The Bikeaway is organised by the Pershore Division of the St John Ambulance Brigade and is their main fund raising event of the year.
The sponsored bike ride starts at Wood Norton Hall and Conference Centre located between Pershore and Evesham on the A44.
It follows parts of the famous Vale of Evesham Spring Blossom Trail, which is promoted by Wychavon District Council and sign posted by the AA.
Riders have the choice of routes covering 35, 26 and 14 miles. | | | |
