Are mobile phone masts a risk to people's health? Almost every time one is planned near people's houses there is a protest, but most of us want better reception on our mobiles. We want your views.

FACTS

At present, there are about 40,000 base stations in the UK

Two-thirds of these are on existing structures and buildings

Base stations are limited in how many calls they can carry at any one time

Large outdoor masts can handle about 100 to 150 simultaneous calls, while a small base station typically inside a building carries about 30
