The Thought of Losing My Mum by Amy Reeve

Tell us about yourself:
I’m a fifteen-year-old school pupil. I enjoy swimming, singing, meeting new people and doing new and interesting things. I also go to the Duke of Edinburgh Award and have just achieved my silver award.

What’s your story about?
My story is about how my Mum was ill and my feelings, worries and scares about the thought of her not being there/here.

Why did you choose to tell this particular story?
As my mum is a big part of my life and the thought of her not being here hurts me. I wanted to express how I felt at the time.

Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed the workshop and have found it very valuable.
