 | | | Brian Walker moved from his home in Evington to join his children who had previously moved to near Durban in South Africa.
Brian says a chance to see another country and see his children and grandchildren grow up was too much to turn down so he took the plunge.
Although Brian now resides in South Africa and says he is enjoying growing his own food, the climate and his children, he says England will always be home.
"England will always be home. I remember how lovely is was, the fields were lovely and green, which we don't get out here.
"Taking my dog for walks and going through the fields, which you cannot do here because of the snakes. I do miss that part of England," says Brian.
Brian continues his conversation and admits his love for a Walkers pork pie amongst other things he misses about Leicestershire.
