Loud and Proud Mix: Placebo

Placebo have a 30-minute mix created for our 6 Music Loud and Proud season. Expect music from The B-52’s, Bronski Beat, Rufus Wainwright and Perfume Genius. The band celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album this month and are releasing a RE:CREATED version which features reworked and embellished versions of all ten tracks from the original album plus two bonus tracks from the original release. “We think of this record as a director’s cut. We haven’t recreated it from scratch. We went back to the original master tapes and brought 30 years of playing these songs live back into the record.”
