Wildfires spread rapidly in parts of France and Spain

Tens of thousands of people in parts of France and Spain have been leaving their homes and holiday properties as concern grows about rapidly spreading wildfires. Also: Police in the Republic of Ireland have intercepted a car containing a bomb which they believe was being driven across the border for an attack in Northern Ireland.
