Verity Sharp presents a voyage around the world of ear-bending experimental listening, celebrating the best in weird and wonderful sounds from across the musical spectrum.

There’s a duet with once-forgotten hard drive jams from Dan Gilmore, prizing open a shelved data bank to pick apart musical memories from his past self on ‘Know I’ve Been Here Before’. We also check in on Poland’s Sanitorium of Sound Festival, previewing artists who will take the stage under this year’s theme the ‘Secret Element of Combustion’, exploring “the eruption of tensions, transformations, and liminal states.”

Elsewhere in the show: catalogued musical mistakes from cult Berlin label Kashual Plastik, and triumphantly-unfinished yet delicately-realised vignettes from Arthur Russell collaborator Nirosta Steel.
