Tony’s Spiritual Life guest this week is writer, broadcaster and hip-hop artist Darren McGarvey. The Orwell Prize-winning author joins Tony to discuss his latest book, The Trauma-Industrial Complex, and reflects on his own spiritual journey, from a difficult childhood in Glasgow to the experiences that have shaped his understanding of trauma, faith and belonging.

Reporter Louise Yeoman visits St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh, where a major restoration of its historic bells has been undertaken. She explores the role the bells have played in the cathedral's life for almost 150 years and why this once-in-a-generation project matters.

Tony speaks to Ruth Madeley and India Amarteifio about their new BBC thriller The Rapture. Set in a near-future shaped by climate anxiety, the drama explores faith, prophecy, and belief through the story of a teenage girl who claims she can see the future.

Tony’s Faith Forum panel are PhD student at Edinburgh University’s School of Divinity Daisy Andoh, Islamic scholar Yahya Barry, and Fr Philip Blackledge, Rector of Holy Trinity Melrose. As the Commonwealth Games return to Glasgow, they discuss what the event says about identity, inclusion, and the changing nature of the Commonwealth in the modern world; with church attendance continuing to decline while some congregations flourish, they unpack how this looks across different faiths; and as artificial intelligence becomes an ever more familiar presence in our lives, the panel explore the difference between healthy optimism and self-deception, and whether being a little bit 'delulu' might not always be a bad thing.
