We also hear Revenge, a darkly comic audio drama from Devizes writer J.P. Paradise, in which a chef recounts the mysterious death of a feared restaurant critic. Full of twists, memorable characters and theatrical flair, it’s a showcase of homegrown storytelling at its most entertaining.

Calne poet Steve C Walters takes us on a whirlwind tour through some of literature's most memorable moments, while Cheltenham writer Jess Blatchley shares a snippet from her debut novel Roofboy and tells us how a local writing group helped turn an idea into a published book.

There's poetry inspired by one of Wiltshire's most remarkable historical figures as Marion Bond revisits the extraordinary tale of Eilmer of Malmesbury, the 11th-century monk who attempted flight centuries before the age of aviation. And we finish with Jonathan P Dovey's thoughtful poem Once We Called Belonging, the first in a series inspired by life on a Bristol high street.
