Welcoming the Fleadh and the Ulster-Scots connections at Fleadh Folk!

BBC Radio Ulster’s weekly Ulster-Scots magazine this week presented by Rab Lennox, Jonnie Crawford and Willie Hill. Guest reporter Rebs Lightbody reports from backstage at a special BBC event Fleadh Folk at the Mandela Hall. Like a lot of events at the Fleadh - this year in Belfast – there’s plenty of Ulster-Scots music on show. Jonnie visit’s the Junior Park Run in Ballymoney as they celebrate a special milestone. Rab chats with Juliette Harrison – a writer and ‘new recruit’ to the language, but someone who’s found out how it brings her back to her childhood. And Willie meets some Therapy Dogs at a local Primary School!
