
The mesmerising meditation that is composer Morton Feldman’s Crippled Symmetry, performed as part of the BBC Proms at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, Gateshead.
The Royal Northern Sinfonia’s Music Director Dinis Sousa is joined by principal musicians Helena Gourd and Jude Carlton to perform the mesmerising meditation that is centenary composer Morton Feldman’s Crippled Symmetry. Inspired by the irregular patterning of Turkish rugs, the piece is an exploration of subtle change in terms of pitch, rhythm and colour.
Recorded at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, Gateshead, on 24th July and presented by Linton Stephens.
