Day 5: Women's 10,000m Final

The heptathlon continues on day five of the European Athletics Championships with the third event of seven, the shot put, kick-starting the evening session. Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Jade O’Dowda represent Great Britain in Birmingham, with Ireland’s Kate O’Connor another contender for gold. The women’s 10,000m also gets underway on the track, with Megan Keith part of the team after winning European bronze two years ago.
