Isabelle Faust plays Schumann's Violin Concerto from the BBC Proms

Elizabeth Alker introduces a week of highlights from the BBC Proms, featuring some of the festival's standout performances. Isabelle Faust plays Schumann's violin concerto with the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra conducted by Simon Rattle.

Back at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, Benjamin Appl sings An die ferne Geliebte in an arrangement for voice and string quartet performed here by the Armida Quartet.
