Tom Service presents the premiere of Cassie Kinoshi's ARTEFACT/AUTOMATON for amplified string quartet, piano and electronics, performed by the Manchester Collective on a sweltering hot night at Leeds' Howard Assembly Room in June. Plus highlights from the Young Composer Prom which nurtures and develops the next generation of composers, featuring works from talented 12 to 18 year old composers performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra.
