Revisited: Oxford, Newport and Holmfirth
Charlie Dimmock revisits three of her favourite rescued gardens – in Oxford, Newport and Holmfirth – to see what has become of the team's transformations.
Charlie Dimmock revisits some of her favourite rescued gardens. She catches up with retired maths teachers Gillian and Mark, who had recently moved into their forever home and wanted Charlie and the team to transform their overgrown plot into a beautiful Victorian-style cottage garden to complement their charming terrace house. Charlie also pays a visit to Deep in Newport, Wales, whose dream of a calm, spiritual space that also produces homegrown fruit and veg has truly come to life. Lastly, she goes to see Adrian and Gail in Holmfirth, who spent five years living in Australia and wanted a garden inspired by their time there – a design that continues to thrive and evoke memories of life down under.
