Stephen Thrower

Original Coil member Stephen Thrower brings his take on experimental music.

Coil were formed in 1982 by John Balance and Peter Christopherson, with Stephen joining them from 1986 to 1992. The albums from his time in the band are now being reissued and remastered by The Grey Area label, beginning with 1987's Gold Is the Metal (With the Broadest Shoulders). Coil stopped releasing new material after John Balance’s death in 2004 and ceased any official releases after Peter Christopherson's death in 2010.
