Jason Mohammad takes your calls on young people's employment, pedestrianisation of high streets and the cinemas you love

Are young people being denied the chance to work and train? Would you like to walk down your local high street without a car in sight? Tell us about the cinemas you love and miss.

Jason Mohammad with Monday's Phone In...

Andy Burnham says the UK is facing “economic catastrophe and moral failure” because of the one million young people who are not in education, employment, or training. Ministers are due to set out plans to boost youth employment in the coming days.
Writing in The Times Newspaper, Burnham has laid out his case for the government to "invest in the success of our young people" rather than "pay for failure through the benefits system". He says we have a "generation being denied its chance to get on in life". Do you agree?

The UK Government has warned councils in England against ill-considered plans to pedestrianise high streets.
The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government said pedestrianisation can make high streets "more attractive, safe and welcoming".
But the department added that "the process needs to be well considered", warning that removing traffic could make high streets less accessible and damage local economies. Would you like to walk down your local high street without a car in sight?

And finally, Penarth Pier Pavilion Cinema has been voted onto the longlist of 15 cinemas for the British Independent Film Awards’ Cinema of the Year award.
More than 70 cinemas entered this year’s competition, with nearly 50,000 votes cast by cinemagoers across the UK. The winner will be announced on December 6th
We want to know about the cinemas you know and love… And the old cinemas you miss?
Who remembers the Palladium in Prestatyn, the Empire in Flint, Caernarfon's Majestic, The Embassy in Bridgend, the White Palace in Pontypridd?
