Anoushka Mutanda-Dougherty has produced and presented hit podcasts including Diddy on Trial, which followed the criminal trial of hip hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs. She has chosen Pat Barker's rewriting of the Iliad from the women's perspective, The Silence of the Girls.

Nicola Wilding's debut memoir These Wild English tells the story of her Cumbrian upbringing in a working class family. She has suggested John Updike's novel Rabbit, Run, the tale of a high school basketball star who abandons his wife and child in search of a better life.

Harriet's choice is Esther Freud's story of a child whose mother, in search of enlightenment, ups sticks and takes her to Morocco.
