Crayfish whisperer
On his first attempt at fishing for crayfish, Bill Oddie finds a small female in the river at Pensthorpe Nature Reserve. Bill thinks it looks like a squat lobster, with claws which are white at the base. The females mate in October and November, carrying their eggs underneath their tail.
