Freeloaders
A relative of badgers, stoats and weasels, the pine marten is a very different animal behaviourally. Their sharp claws enable them to climb trees and to chase squirrels and birds. These images are from a feeding station, several of which are set up across Scotland. Springwatch set up some cameras in the garden of Carol and Adam in Speyside, and just at the last light of the day, they caught their pine marten coming to the table to feed on some free peanuts.
