PM listeners' sounds: Starlings in flight
PM listener Kit Morgan, on the Somerset Levels, explains that this sound of "three million or so starlings that delight me every evening." "They gather in the fields directly outside my cottage, just outside Glastonbury on the Somerset Levels. They then treat me to a spectacular display when they take off to roost in the nearby reed beds. The only downside is that, as you can imagine, there's little point in cleaning my car until they migrate...," Kit explains.
