
Can the metal from a spoon affect your taste?
The Science Museum is launching an exhibition looking at the latest scientific research into our appetite and how our sense of taste can be influenced by different factors such as the shape of the spoon, and how food affects our body, brain and eating habits.
Zoe Laughlin, from Institute of Making, brought in two sets of her spoons which have all been coated in different metals, thereby having a different impact on how food tastes.
