Hackney South and Shoreditch: Are primary classes too big?
As part of the Today programme's series covering 100 seats in 100 days Tom Bateman spoke to parents and pupils outside the gates of a school following Labour's announcement that they would reduce primary school class sizes.
One mother, Stevie, said there were 30-32 pupils per class at her children's school, adding that "there's a lot of children under one teacher."
Another mother added "the classes are overcrowded...teachers have too much to deal with...and don't have enough support for all the children."
