Poldark star Elizabeth: Finale "might be ultimate cliffhanger"

Heida Reed, who plays Ross Poldark's first love Elizabeth, has told Today the final episode of the first season "might be the ultimate cliffhanger".

She said it was "a fantastic cast and we've all really really enjoyed working with each other".

Today presenter Jim Naughtie, clearly inspired by the show, said he was "planning to mow the grass topless this weekend".

Poldark is to return for a second series with Aidan Turner back in the lead role, the BBC has confirmed.
