'Jeremy is the craft ale of the Labour movement'
Labour politician and former treasury chief secretary Liam Byrne said that Jeremy Corbyn 'has bought a bit of soul force back into the party'.
Likening the new leader to craft ale, he said that he said of Corbyn, 'he's authentic, has strong flavours and is something very different from the bland mediocrity of politics'.
Mr Byrne is one of a group of Labour MPs that has published a plan for winning a majority for the Labour Party in England, dubbed the 'Red Shift' group.
