Coe: Russia could miss Rio Olympics
IAAF president Lord Coe says that if Russia fails to pass IAAF standards on doping before the Rio Olympics then their athletes will not compete in the games.
Speaking on the Today programme, he said that Russia had to prove its athletes were operating in a "safe and secure environment" and whether they did so or not before the games was "entirely a matter for them".
“If we don’t get the change we want, then I’m afraid the clean athletes are going to have to sit this out,” he told presenter James Naughtie.
