Amber Rudd defends Boris Johnson 'joke'
The Conservative MP and Secretary of State for Energy and Climate change, Amber Rudd, has insisted that her remarks about Boris Johnson were "just lighthearted jokes".
Amber Rudd, who is campaigning to remain, said Mr Johnson, of the leave campaign, "is the life and soul of the party but you wouldn't want him driving you home at the end of the evening".
She was answering a question from listener Mike Tooze from Rochester in Kent during The World At One's referendum phone-in.
