Hammond: 'UK will never be part of a European army'
The foreign secretary Philip Hammond has denied that the UK will ever be part of a European army.
He was responding to former General Sir Michael Rose's comments that there are already plans for one.
He told the World at One's Martha Kearney that a European army would never work.
