Barrie the puppy saved from Syrian rubble

A man’s launched a fundraising campaign to bring home a puppy he saved from rubble in Syria. Sean Laidlaw, who is working in Syria as a bomb disposal team leader, found Barrie under a concrete slab. He’s now looking after the puppy in his camp, and wants to bring it back home to the UK with him.

Sean says Barrie has gone “from a scared little puppy to now a socialising puppy who jumps up at us.”
