Essex dance teacher stars in Wicked

A dance teacher from Essex is one of the stars in the film adaptation of Wicked. Based upon the hit West End musical, it tells the origin story of the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz.

The film version has won two 2025 Bafta awards for production and costume design.

Lily Field teaches at WD Studios in Southend and appears on screen alongside US actress and singer Ariana Grande.
