Mary Herve from local charity Caring for Ex-Offenders says that prison leavers are struggling to find suitable accommodation amid the Guernsey housing crisis.
The charity tries to help ex-offenders find suitable places to live once they leave the prison system to avoid re-offending, but with a major housing emergency in the island, they are resorting to handing out tents and sleeping bags.
Tim Hunter finds out more in light of the prison's 2024 annual report.
