'Robert Plant is a celebrity customer'
The musical treasure trove in Kidderminster is home to more than 400,000 records on Blackwell Street.
The original Mister Tee unknowingly sold a copy of Tainted Love to Marc Almond whilst working at another store. Francis Terry Thomas began selling badges and vinyl before giving up his accountancy day job to move to the midlands, setting up a shop in the Wyre Forest to cater for al music tastes.
Francis passed in 2017 but the shop is going strong, now run by Terry Hodges, a longtime colleague and friend.
The shop is selling more vinyl than ever before, with fans coming from all over the country to check out both the latest and vintage pressings. Some of those fans include music royalty!
Mister Tee's also includes a large section of dance music records, which has seen DJs live stream from inside the store and find a new flock of online followers.
Alistair Binney reports.
