£48,000 Roman statue to lay in Stevenage
Andy Collins asked Labour Councillor Tom Plater why it’s worth spending the money. The Roman statue is one of four sculptures being situated across the town. The other three are: The Stag, the symbol of Hertfordshire which is being installed in the north of Monkswood; Flight Trace, which is celebrating the history of aviation and will be placed at the south of Monkswood; and Space Age Musical Pavillion which will be near King George V playing field.
