Nigel Dudley, one of the organisers of Tolkien Weekend in Great Haywood, discusses the village's historic links to J.R.R. Tolkien and how Staffordshire landmarks helped inspire some of the author's earliest ideas. He explains why fans are travelling from across the UK and overseas to visit the festival, which features memorabilia, exhibitions and a trail highlighting locations connected to the creator of The Lord of the Rings.
