The Racing Pod: ‘I train horses before trainers do’

Connor Brace specialises in training the rawest of recruits, often horses that are yet to be broken in to the yard environment and sometimes haven’t even worn a saddle before.

Trevor Owens and Oliver Boyden welcome the jockey who himself has picked up more than 150 career wins, and has moved to a pre-training yard near Evesham.

Whether it's straightening the gallop of horses who might veer to one side, getting them fit for the new season or recovering from minor injuries, he gives an insight in to an area many racing fans probably know little or nothing about.
