Rock god in checkmate

Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant brought a whole new definition to the phrase 'rook and roll', making a surprise appearance at a charity chess tournament in Bewdley.

John Wrench, the President of Kidderminster Chess Club, says that Robert Plant personally chose to join the event and also took part at St. George's Hall. John says that from the rock god's moves on the chess board, he might even have a future in the sport.
