Picking up DIY tools and building confidence

With tradespeople in high demand and household budgets under pressure, one Sunderland project is helping women learn the skills to do it themselves. For many of us a leaky tap, putting up a shelf or fixing something around the home can feel like a job best left to someone else, but the team at Sunderland Home Grown CIC are changing that. Gilly Hope popped along to their first handy woman workshop, run by Roy, and caught up with Emma, Diane and Alison.
