How Turner on Tees hopes to inspire children
School children on Teesside have been taking part in workshops inspired by the works of artists nominated for the Turner Prize.
It comes as exhibitions from the finalists are being displayed at Middlesbrough's Institute of Modern Art, before the winner is announced on December 10th.
By Christmas, Mima estimates they will have brought in 17,000 children across the region to see the exhibitions.
Pupils from Brambles Farm Primary school were the first to take part in the Turner on Tees project.
Louise Hobson reports.
