Nigeria abduction: Government says schoolchildren accounted for

After an attack on a primary school this morning, the authorities in Kaduna say that no children are missing. But three teachers are confirmed to have been abducted.

In The Gambia, the Truth, Reconciliation, and Reparations Commission has been holding hearings into the killing of more than 50 migrants from nine West African countries who were passing through the country on their way to Europe in 2005.
