The administration in the east has officially handed power to the new interim government
A handover ceremony took place on Tuesday in Libya's second city, Benghazi, headquarters until now of the eastern administration.
In Sierra Leone, the government has announced that a year-long state of emergency imposed because of Covid-19 has come to an end and will not be renewed. As a result the curfew the country has been under has been lifted.
