Sudan: Gen Abdel Fattah al-Burhan announces new ruling council

In Sudan, General al-Burhan has announced a new ruling council, he retained his deputy Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, alias Hemeti, as well as other senior military leaders. General al-Burhan also named himself as the leader of the council.

Civil servants in Zimbabwe are promised end of year salary bonuses which are to be paid in US dollars too.

And, negotiations are continuing on the final day of the COP 26 summit in Glasgow. Leaders hope they can reach an agreement on how to prevent the worst impacts of climate change.
