Ethiopian troops ordered to halt advances into Tigray

The government in Ethiopia has said it has ordered its troops not to advance deeper into Tigray following the recapture in recent weeks of neighbouring Amhara and Afar areas.

Plus women in Sudan protest in several cities against alleged sexual assaults by armed forces.

And the US envoy to the Horn of Africa, Jeffrey Feltman, on his efforts to try to resolve the impasse in Sudan between the military and a civilian coalition.
