[an error occurred while processing this directive] The American photographer Lee Miller started her career as a model and muse of artist Man Ray. She went on to become the first female photo journalist to travel with allied troops through liberated Paris and into the concentration camps at the end of the second world war. To mark the centeniary of her birth the Victoria and Albert Museum is staging a retrospective of her work. Self Portrait in Headband, New York, 1932, © Lee Miller Archives, England 2007.
