Essex heatwave warning: latest forecast

After a few weeks of unsettled weather and plenty of rain, summer is turning up the heat across Essex this week. The Met Office have issued a rare red warning for parts of Essex on Wednesday and Thursday, alongside a more widespread amber heat warning for the county, both valid until 23:59 (BST) on 25th June, meaning an exceptional spell of hot and humid weather is expected.
